What is a good brand to buy for graphite pencils?

I'm planing on buying new graphite pencils. I already have but their running out. when I last bought them I really didn't care for brands and bought whatever seemed good but I read the other day in some magazine how the brand really affects the quality. So I want to know some brands before i go buy them.
