DFW Airport Regulations?

I'll be flying in the next few days from DFW airport, and I haven't been to the airport in a LONG time. With all of the craziness with the TSA (can not believe they made that 95 year old women remove her adult diaper!!!!) I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on what I should and what I should not wear (female), or pack and how to pack what? I don't quite know the rules on the whole liquid/ziploc thing, and if they TRULY pat you down? A run through on what I should expect would be grateful. Thank you:)
